Squidget is a morning person. I am not.

A walk to the barn, though, brought out the best in both of us this morning.

Squidget loves, loves, loves the horses. The mares are a little standoffish, but the geldings are as enthralled with her as she is with them, which makes for cute, cute, cute. (And there were dogwood blossoms along the driveway to the barn.)

Here Squidget is throwing a temper tantrum that I was taking photos of said dogwood blossoms before going to see the horses.

And here she is holding court with the geldings.
