Sometimes you surprise yourself, which is what happened when my daughter was born.

I loved her, wholly and all consumingly — a complete difference from the inconvenience I felt during pregnancy. The feeling didn’t go away and my workaholic priorities realigned with Squidget at the center.

Moving to my husband’s family farm meant giving up our careers and the mountains we loved, but it also meant more time as a family, and a pretty cool second career.

So here we are figuring out where we fit in the life puzzle, being intentional in our pursuit of a good harvest of wheat and love.
